Q: What are the Smiles Boxes like?

A: Our standard 'Smiles' Boxes are textured blue boxes with our "S" Logo embossed in gold on the lid or front, depending on the product family.

Other Colour Options are available; Satin White, Textured Pink, Textured Light Blue, Textured Green, Textured Red, Lilac, Purple and a matching Textured Blue all of the special colour options also have our Gold Embossed Smile "S" Logo on the lid or the front of the box. (Colour swatches are available on request)

Q: Do your Children's "Smiles Boxes" come flatpacked?

A: No, all our Smiles are pre-built and packed with the contents for you and where applicable, they are also personalised with the Childs name too! However, it is possible to remove the contents and flat pack the boxes again if required, i.e for travel etc.

Q: Do your Favour Boxes come flatpacked?

A: Yes. our Matching Favour Boxes, which are sold as singles, come flatpacked ready for you to assmble and decorate as required. The Favours do not have our 'S' Logo.

Q: Are there any accessories or contents supplied with your Matching Favour Boxes?

A: No. to allow you to customise and tailor the accessories to match your specific theme, the boxes are not supplied with any accessories or contents.

Q: My event is in 8 days time. Have I still got time?

A: Possibly! - We obviously like as much notice as possible so pre-booking is always a good idea. However, we can process urgent orders very quickly, if required, when payment is made via credit or debit card and you are shipping to the cardholders address. Please bear in mind though, that it is subject to available resources, so it may not always be possible. Please call us to confirm to see if we can help.

Q: Can I have the Smiles Boxes individually personalised with the childrens names?

A: Yes, all our Smiles familes are individually named free of charge except our standard Handy Smile range (The Personalised Handy Range starts from just £5.99 each). The name cards are either blue for our standard 'Classic' Blue or Off White for our new Colour Options.

Q: How do I ask you to personalise the boxes?

A: When ordering a product, you will see a field with * Names, commas to seperate. Complete this with the names of the children for this particular type of product. Please ensure you match the order quantity with the number of names you have asked us to put on the boxes. (We will always take the number of names as the quantity required if there is more names than quantity requested!)

Q: How do you Personalise the boxes?

A: The Children's name label is attached to the top of a Handy Smile box, just in front of the Handle and on the Front face of a Giggle, Chuckle, Grin or Chortle Box, at the top just by the lip of the box.


Q: How large are the Smiles boxes?

A. The Smile box sizes are as follows:

The Handy Smiles boxes are approximately 11.5cm (4.5inches) wide x 6.5cm (2.5inches) deep x 15.5cm (6inches) high (excluding handle)

The Giggles and Chuckles (except Infants, Birth to 11 Months and 24 to 35 months Chuckles) are approximately:

29cm (11.5inches) long x 15.5cm (6 inches) wide x 14cm (5.5 inches) high

The Chuckle infants (birth to 11 months and 24 to 35 months) and all the Grin, Chortle and Smiles boxes (for all ages) are approximately:

35.5cm (14inches) long x 20.5cm (8 inches) wide x 23cm (9 inches) high

The new Matching Favour 'Smiles' boxes are approximately:

7.3cm (2.9inches) long x 7.3cm (2.9inches) wide x 5cm (2inches) high.

Q: Blue boxes do not complement my event colour scheme. Do I have a colour choice?

A: Yes although our standard 'Smiles' are 'mid' blue in colour, there are now 8 other Colour Options available with Matching Favour Boxes. However, the shape and size of our Wedding Smiles does allow you to easily wrap and ribbon each Smile to suit your individual needs, that way you can be sure of an exact match to your colour scheme!

Q: Do the children need supervision when they are given the boxes?

A: Yes. As with any toys, adults should always supervise their children at play, however to avoid unnecessary danger, 'Smiles' will contain toys suited to the age group for which they are intended. We do however, always ask that parents or guardians check the suitability of the individual toys for the children in their care as they will always know best.

Q: I only require 1 or 2 boxes - is there a minimum order quantity?

A: No, however, there is a minimum p&p charge as outlined in our P&P & Ts&Cs tab at the top of the page.

Q: Can I mix price ranges in one order?

A: Yes. We are happy to supply many different price, collour and age ranges in the same order.


Q: How do I pay?

A: We accept most major credit/debit cards, cheques and postal orders (payable to Event Smiles Ltd please). You can pay by debit/credit card online, or you can opt to pay "by phone". If choosing to pay "by phone", after placing your order please call us with your card details, alternatively, if paying by cheque or postal order, please post your payment, as soon as possible, to aid prompt despatch.


Q: When will I receive the boxes?

A: Standard delivery is approximately 14 days from date of order, subject to availabilty. However, we would always recommend ordering your 'Smiles' as early as possible. Orders can be delivered in as little as 7 to 10 working days, but please remember that in our busiest periods, and for urgent deliveries, we would advise you to call us to confirm availability.

Q: I am out all day, how can I receive my Smiles?

A: We use Parcelforce or Recorded Delivery to deliver our 'Smiles'. If you are not home they will leave a card with details on how to rearrange delivery or collection from your local Post Office.

Q: If I order more than one, how will I know which box is for which child?

A: All the 'Smiles' are individually marked with both age and gender and peronalisation options are available on all price ranges.

Q: Will I need to make up the childrens 'Smiles' boxes?

A: No. All our childrens 'Smiles' come ready assembled and labelled for each individual child. They are closed, but not sealed, as we encourage you to check the contents. (Our Favour Boxes come flat packed as these have no contents.)

Q: Can two or more children share one Smile?

A: The products in each Smile are carefully chosen to ensure they are best suited for the age and gender of the child they are bought for; this gives them products that they can both utilise and enjoy - and you value for money. If a child is either too young or too old for their gifts it can become a safety issue or they immediately get bored and become disruptive anyway.

Q: What is the delivery charge?

A: For most UK mainland postcodes Post & Packaging is £7.50 total ( for up to approximately 15 'Giggle' sized boxes or up to 30 "Handy Smiles" or up to 8 "Grin" sized boxes) and delivery is via Parcelforce 48 hour service.

For small light orders, Recorded Delivery will automatically be given as an option.

We also ship to Northern Ireland, Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, where our delivery charges using the same quantities as above start at £13.50.

You will be advised of the total shipping costs in the Checkout Screen, before you pay for your order, alowing you to change your mind, if you decide to do so, without any commitment. (some adjustments may apply)
